Apple No Longer Offers ‘Signature’ Ribbon Box Gift Wrapping Option

Apple has stopped offering gift wrapping for online orders made in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Germany, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and select other countries where the option had been available.

As noted by MacRumors, Apple removed any references to gift wrapping from its website earlier this week, and the option is no longer available at checkout.

The gift wrapping option included a “signature” white box with a red ribbon, as well as a greeting card for a personal message. The option was provided for an additional charge, although Apple occasionally offered it for free during special promotions.

Apple has also discontinued the option to include a gift message on the packing slip included with an order.

Free personalized engraving is still available for select products, including select iPads, AirPods, and Beats, as well as Apple’s AirTag and second-generation Apple Pencil.
