Apple Seeds First Beta of macOS Sonoma 14.1 to Developers for Testing

Apple Seeds First Beta of macOS Sonoma 14.1 to Developers for Testing

Apple today seeded the first beta of its macOS Sonoma 14.1 update to developers. The new beta comes just one day after the release of macOS Sonoma 14 to the public.

The developer build of macOS Sonoma 14.1 can be downloaded by developers through the Apple Developer Center and once the correct profile is installed, succeeding betas will be available through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences.

Apple has not announced what new features are available in the new beta. We’ll update this space when we hear of new features.

As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver Mac, instead only installing betas on devices set aside for testing purposes.
