Apple Says iOS 17.2 Fixes WiFi Slowdown and Connectivity Issues

Several iPhone users have reported having WiFi connectivity issues after updating to iOS 17, which was released last month. Happily, Apple says it has fixed the issue in the iOS 17.2 beta.

iPhone users have complained of WiFi connectivity issues, ranging from dropped connections to slow performance and more. The fine folks at iClarified filed a bug report with Apple about the issue, and Apple now tells them that the problems are fixed in iOS 17.2.

iOS 17.2 is currently available only to developers and public beta users, and Apple says fixes for the Wi-Fi connectivity problems are included in the beta.

As a result of your feedback, there are software changes in the latest update, build 21C5029g, that have resolved this issue. You can see the software build your device is running and check for the latest update by tapping on Settings > General > Software Update.

The iOS 17.2 update will likely be released to the general public before the end of the year.
