Leaker Claims New 11th-Generation Low-Cost iPad to Launch on Tuesday

Leaker Majin Bu claims Apple will release a new low-cost 11th-generation iPad on Tuesday. The leaker says the new iPad will have the same design as the 10th-gen model, allowing accessories to be “perfectly compatible.”

Last week, Majin Bu claimed Apple would release a third-generation Apple Pencil with interchangeable magnetic tips. While multiple sources have claimed that Apple will debut updated iPad Air, iPad mini, and entry-level iPad models this week, Japanese blog Mac Otakara believes that all we’ll likely see announced this week is a third-generation Apple Pencil.

Meanwhile, Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman says that while Apple is making progress on new iPad and MacBook models, the release of these devices “won’t happen this month.”

Majin Bu’s tweet of an 11th-generation ‌iPad‌ does not mention anything about a new ‌iPad Air‌ or the ‌iPad mini‌, and it also seems to indicate that the ‌iPad‌ will be accompanied by compatible accessories. Perhaps we might see the new ‌Apple Pencil‌ that ‌Mac Otakara‌ predicted.

Majin Bu has a hit-and-miss track record when it comes to predictions about Apple products, so we’ll just have to keep an eye out on Tuesday.
