Despite it being nominated in 16 categories for the 2024 Critics Choice Awards, Apple TV+ only pulled off a single win. Several Apple TV+ shows were nominated, including “Ted Lasso,” “The Morning Show,” “Shrinking,” and “Lessons in Chemistry” While “Ted Lasso” received only a single nomination, the other shows received multiple nominations in several categories.
Unfortunately for Apple TV+, the only show to take home a trophy at the ceremony on Sunday, January 14, 2024. Billy Crudup won for the show in the Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category.
Crudup was not only the latest person to score an award for an Apple TV+ show, he was also the first. In 2020, Crudup received the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his performance in “The Morning Show.”
