Apple Vision Pro App Store Now Live, As Apple Prepares for Feb. 2nd Launch

Apple has officially opened the Vision Pro App Store, as the Cupertino firm prepares for the February 2 launch of the headset. Now that the visionOS App Store is live. we should soon see apps in the iOS App Store should soon mention Vision Pro compatibility.

The opening of the visionOS App Store means developers can now release apps for the device and have them appear in the visionOS App Store. This also means that even though the headsets are not yet on the heads of the public, reviewers who have access to the Vision Pro can try out third-party apps created for the headset for the first time.

Apple today began meeting with select members of the media to provide review units and go over the features and operation of the headset. We should expect to begin seeing reviews go live at the end of January.

The Apple Vision Pro will be available starting at $3,499 (U.S.) with 256GB of storage. Pre-orders for Apple Vision Pro will begin on Friday, January 19, at 5 a.m. PST, with availability beginning Friday, February 2.
