Apple CEO Tim Cook Confirms Vision Pro to Launch in China Later This Year

Apple CEO Tim Cook on Sunday confirmed that the Vision Pro headset will go on sale in China later this year (via Reuters).

Cook revealed the headset’s China launch plan in response to a media question on the sidelines of the China Development Forum in Beijing and confirmed that Apple’s first spatial computer will launch in the country in 2024. Cook added that Apple will continue to increase research and development investment in China.

Cook’s comments are the first solid confirmations of Apple releasing the Vision Pro in a country other than the United States. Apple had previously said the Vision Pro would launch in additional countries during 2024, but a specific timeframe or an initial country had never been announced.
