Caviar, a company known for making luxury version of popular tech gadgets, has plans to release a custom 18-karat gold plated Apple Vision Pro somrtime next year. That customer Vision Pro will certainly cost you much more than Apple’s $3,499 starting price.
The device sports a headband made from Connolly leather, and boasts a gold visor cover attachment inspired by “Tom Ford flip-up glasses and Gucci ski masks.”
“Judging by the public’s reaction, not everyone appreciates having their eyes displayed on the external screen. With Caviar’s version, you can preserve your privacy if you wish,” says the company.
Production of the limited edition Apple Vision Pro CVR Edition by Caviar will be limited to 25 units. While the Caviar website says the headset’s starting price is “available on request,” although other sources claim the device will go for $40,000.
Caviar also recently announced a custom iPhone 15 Pro that has been modified to match the look of the Vision Pro. That precious goes for $8,060 and can be pre-ordered from the Caviar website.
