Parallels Desktop Version 19.3.0 Now Available – Brings Improved Windows Gaming Support, New Clipboard Sync Modes

Parallels Desktop, the popular virtualization tool for macOS, released version 19.3 of the tool on Friday, bringing several new features, including improved support for Windows games and a new clipboard sync mode.

Parallels Desktop 19.3 brings improved Windows gaming support, bringing fixes for several games, including Genshin Impact, Rise of Kingdoms, and Dark Souls II.

Pro and Business users will appreciate that Parallels Desktop now provides a new clipboard sync mode that makes copying and pasting between the Mac and virtual machines more flexible. Users can choose to enable copy and paste from Mac to Windows and vice versa, only from one way to the other, or completely disable clipboard sync.

New clipboard sync modes are also available when working with a Linux virtual machine, and the update makes trackpad scrolling smoother on Linux. The update also makes it easier to install Ubuntu on Apple Silicon Macs thanks to the Express Installation mode.

The update features include:

  • Play hundreds of Windows games on a Mac with Apple silicon
  • New clipboard synchronization modes to make copy and pasting between Mac and virtual machines more flexible
  • Smoother scrolling in Linux with Trackpad
  • Express installation of Ubuntu on Apple silicon
  • An enhanced experience with virtual macOS on Apple silicon
  • Tune VM configuration via UI
  • Better keyboard integration
  • ZScaler Compatibility

A free trial of Parallels Desktop is available. Visit the Parallels website for pricing details.
