Apple today previewed its new Miami Worldcenter retail store. The new location is scheduled to open this Friday, January 24 at 10 a.m. local time.
Created from the ground up to reflect Apple’s values, Apple Miami Worldcenter is built with the environment in mind using a regionally sourced mass timber structure and other low-carbon materials, which significantly reduced the carbon intensity of its construction. Like all Apple facilities, Apple Miami Worldcenter’s operations run on 100 percent renewable energy and are carbon neutral.
The store’s rooftop includes a green space, designed to seamlessly blend with the surrounding palm trees and shrubs.
“Apple Miami Worldcenter also features a biophilic design that helps connect customers to the beautiful green spaces surrounding the store,” says Apple. “Upon entry, customers and the local community are welcomed by the grounds blooming with plants and flora inspired by the multicultural Latin American influence of Miami.”

The store features a combined Genius Bar and Apple Pickup area for technical support and collection of online orders in one place. There is also an Apple Vision Pro demo area.

The new store offers accessibility features, including varied table and seating heights, wheelchair-friendly areas, and a portable hearing loop for use with hearing aids.
Apple Miami Worldcenter will offer customized Apple-led Today at Apple sessions highlighting the store’s environment-centered design and natural elements, as well as special Made for Business events led by small business owners.
