Apple Seeds Release Candidates of watchOS 11.3, tvOS 18.3 and visionOS 2.3

Apple today seeded the release candidates of its upcoming watchOS 11.3, tvOS 18.3, and visionOS 2.3 updates to developers for testing, coming one week after the release of the third betas.

The release candidates are currently only available to registered developers at this time, and can be downloaded from the settings app on each device.

There were no notable new features found in the updates, but code suggests that Apple will add support for robot vacuums to HomeKit.

The tvOS 18.3 code also suggests we won’t be seeing the new TV and Movies and Soundscapes screen savers, which Apple had promised back in June. References to these screen savers have now been eliminated from the code.

Apple also plans to add a new notice about digital movie and TV show sales in tvOS 18.3.

As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas or release candidates on their daily driver Apple Watch, Apple TV, or Vision Pro. Instead, only install betas or release candidates on a device set aside for testing purposes.
