New iPhone SE 4 Dummies Feature iPhone 14-Style Design

Apple is planning to release a fourth-generation iPhone SE this year, so it’s time for alleged dummy models of the upcoming handset to begin leaking out. Sonny Dickson on Thursday shared some images of an ‌iPhone SE‌ 4 dummy model, giving us a possible look at what the new device will look like.

Dummy models are non-functional mockups of new devices that case makers create based on leaked information. Over the years, leaked dummy models have turned out to be accurate in most cases. Dickson’s dummies (sounds like a 70s situation comedy) have in the past been quite accurate.

Previous rumors that the next ‌iPhone SE‌ will look like the iPhone 14, and that seems to be accurate based on these images. The dummy shots show an iPhone-14 style chassis sporting an aluminum band, a glass back, and a single-lens rear camera.

While there have been claims that the ‌iPhone SE‌ 4 could boast an Action Button or the Camera Control button, as is available on iPhone 16 models, those features are not depicted on the dummy models.

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to feature a USB-C port and Face ID, replacing the Touch ID Home button and the Lightning port the current iPhone SE is equipped with.

The fourth-generation iPhone SE’s display is said to considerably increase in size, from the current 4.7 inches to 6.06 inches, and will also feature an OLED display panel for the first time. The new ‌iPhone SE‌4 is also expected to be powered by the same A18 chip as the iPhone 16 lineup. The handset is expected to include 6GB to 8GB of LPDDR5 memory, an aluminum chassis, and a single rear 48-megapixel camera.

The fourth-generation ‌iPhone SE‌ is expected to carry a price tag of $499 to $549. The current iPhone SE debuted in March 2022 and carried a $429 price tag.
