Apple is working on its own smart glasses, and is targeting a late 2026 release, reportsĀ Bloomberg. Apple’s glasses are expected to boast cameras, microphones, and AI features, similar to Google’s recently unveiled Android XR glasses and Meta’s Ray-Bans.
Users of Apple’s glasses reportedly have the ability to record video and take photos. play music, provide turn-by-turn directions, offer translations, answer queries, and provide Visual Intelligence-like feedback on the wearer’s surrounding, and conduct phone calls.
While the glasses will not offer any augmented reality features, Siri will be a big part of the Apple smart glasses experience.
