Apple on Friday released a new “Hands-On with Apple Intelligence” video that focuses on the Apple Intelligence features it has actually been able to bring to market and how to use them.
The video wisely ignores the Apple Intelligence features Apple has been unable to get ready for prime time, like personalized Siri replies, and instead concentrates on the features that are actually available now.
The features include:
- Clean Up in Photos
- Genmoji
- Image Playground
- Mail Summaries
- Writing Tools
- Visual Intelligence
- ChatGPT integration
After admitting that the much promoted personalized Apple Intelligence features for Siri were still months away from being ready for iPhone users, Apple quietly changed its advertising to remove mention of features that were not ready. The Cupertino firm is also facing lawsuits in at least two countries (the U.S. and Canada) brought by customers that were P.O.’ed that the promised features were not present and accounted for on their new iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Pro.
