Apple today seeded the second betas of its upcoming iOS 18.6 and iPadOS 18.6 updates to developers for testing. The new betas come two weeks after the initial beta seeds of both.
Registered developers can download the updates by going to the Settings app, then tapping on “General” -> “Software Update” on iPhone and iPad devices
There’s no word yet on what’s included in iOS 18.6 and iPadOS 18.6, when the first beta was released, we reported that the iOS 18.6 update may bring Apple Intelligence to China for the first time. However, Apple is facing regulatory hurdles in China, delaying that launch.
Once we find out more about what’s included, we’ll we’ll update you in this space.
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver iPhone or iPad. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
