Apple Temporarily Closes Apple Park Visitor Center’s Rooftop Terrace

If you’re planning a visit to the Apple Park Visitor Center this month, you might want to delay it if possible, as Apple is temporarily closing the center’s rooftop terrace.

Apple says the rooftop terrace will be receiving some unspecified “improvements,” and it will be closed until Monday, September 1 as a result.

The notice, added to the Apple Park Visitor Center page within the past 24 hours, says:

Give us a moment. We are making some improvements to our rooftop terrace and it will be closed until September 1.

When access is available, the rooftop terrace offers a partial view of Apple Park, along with tables and chairs for sitting around. The terrace can be reached via stairs or an elevator, and a restroom is available.

While the rooftop terrace is closed, there is still plenty to do while at the Apple Park Visitor Center. Visitors can view a 3D model of the Apple Park campus, purchase Apple merchandise, try out Apple products, attend free “Today at Apple” sessions, and stroll through the adjacent “Mirage” public art installation. Users can also get caffeinated at the on-site Caffè Macs.

The Apple Park Visitor Center opened in November 2017 and is located across the street from the Apple Park Campus, in Cupertino, California.
