Apple is this week opening its third retail location in India at Phoenix Mall of Asia in Bengaluru. The new Apple Hebbal will offer the new combined Genius Bar and Pickup counter layout.
The new store spans approximately 8,000 square feet and is staffed by 70 employees representing 15 states across India, according to Apple. The new store joins Apple’s first two Indian retail store locations, Apple BKC in Mumbai and Apple Saket in Delhi.
“We’re delighted to open Apple Hebbal, a community hub that celebrates Bengaluru’s spirit of innovation,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail and People. “We can’t wait to connect with people here and inspire them to create, collaborate, and do amazing things with Apple. We’re excited to continue to bring Apple experiences to customers across India, who inspire us with their creativity and passion.”
Apple says Apple Hebbal will be “a welcoming space for customers to shop Apple’s full lineup of products, experience the best service and support, and participate in free Today at Apple sessions to discover and learn how to get the most out of their devices.”
Apple Hebbal is the first Apple retail location to feature a unified Genius Bar and Pickup counter in a new configuration that merges Apple’s technical support and online order collection services into a single area.
To celebrate the grand opening, customers can download exclusive Apple Hebbal wallpapers, and listen to a specially curated Apple Music Hebbal playlist featuring local Bengaluru artists.
Apple Hebbal opens Tuesday, September 2, at 1 p.m. IST in Bengaluru.
