Apple today released an updated version of iOS 26. Version 23A345 is available for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Reviewers who already have a device can update now, and customers that will receive their new iPhones tomorrow will need to update their device during setup.
While the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max already have iOS 26 installed, they have version 23A330, and not the launch version of iOS 26 that was released on Monday. iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Air owners will need to updated their new precious to iOS 26 version 23A341, while the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will need to be upgraded to iOS 26 version 23A345, which is the update Apple released today.
It’s not clear what’s in the new version of iOS 26. Apple is working on a fix for the camera glitch that is affecting iPhone Air and iPhone 17 Pro users.
The iPhone Air, iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max will start arriving to customers, while also hitting store shelves on Friday, September 19.
