Apple Seeds Third Betas of iOS 26.1 & iPadOS 26.1 to Developers for Testing

Apple today seeded the third betas of its upcoming iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1 updates to developers for testing. The new betas come one week after the second betas.

Registered developers can download the new beta software using the Software Update section of the Settings app.

Apple Intelligence is now available in more languages, including Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese (Portugal), Swedish, Turkish, Chinese (Traditional), and Vietnamese. AirPods Live Translation now also works with Japanese, Korean, Italian, and Chinese (both Mandarin Traditional and Simplified) in iOS 26.1.

Liquid Glass has been expanded to the Phone app’s keypad, while Apple Music has gained a new swipe gesture for changing tracks, and there are visual changes to Calendar, Safari, and Photos.

As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver iPhone or iPad. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
