A leaker known as “Instant Digital” on Weibo today indicated that next-year’s iPhone 18 Pro models will be available in in new rich and warm color options, in at least one of the following color options: Coffee, purple, and burgundy. However, the leaker says don’t expect a black iPhone 18 Pro.
While we have seen iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 14, and iPhone 14 Pro models in shades of purple or lavender, we haven’t seen any iPhones in burgundy or coffee shades.

If you had to choose between the brown, purple, and burgundy colors for the iPhone 18 Pro , which would you prefer? Looks like there won’t be a black one next year.
Coffee is usually a deep and earthy shade in the brown color spectrum, while burgundy is generally a darker wine colored tone. Purple generally lies in the spectrum between red and blue. The image at the top of this article (courtesy of MacRumors) demonstrates what we might expect.
As for the lack of a black option, that’s not a huge surprise, a the iPhone 17 Pro is available in Silver, Deep Blue, and Cosmic Orange, lacking a black or gray option for the first time in the handset’s history.
We’ll likely see the iPhone 18 Pro debut along with the rest of the iPhone 18 lineup sometime in September 2026.
