Apple Fitness+ Coming to 28 New Markets on December 15

Apple today announced that Fitness+ is expanding to 28 new markets on December 15, marking the largest rollout of the service since its launch. Hundreds of Fitness+ workouts and meditations will be digitally dubbed with a generated voice in Spanish, German, and Japanese, with more dubbed episodes added every week. Fitness+ is also introducing a new music genre to the service, K-Pop.

Apple Fitness+ will become available in Chile, Hong Kong, India, the Netherlands, Singapore, Taiwan, and additional regions on December 15, with Japan scheduled to follow early next year. The expansion increases total availability to 49 countries.

Hundreds of sessions will initially be available with digitally generated voice dubbing in Spanish and German. Japanese will be added when the service launches in Japan. New dubbed episodes will be released weekly across all supported regions.

The dubbed workouts will use a generated voice modeled on each of the 28 Fitness+ trainers’ real voices. Users will be able to set a preferred language in the Fitness app, or switch audio tracks after starting a session.

A new K-Pop music genre is being added to the service, and it will be available across all workout types. Apple also noted that the latest episode of Time to Walk features Japanese Formula 1 driver Yuki Tsunoda, and is available today.

Fitness+ is available today in Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Switzerland, the UAE, the UK, and the U.S. The service will be available in Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Finland, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, the Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, the Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan, Venezuela, and Vietnam beginning December 15, with Japan to follow early next year.

Apple Fitness+ is available as a subscription service for $9.99 (U.S.) per month or $79.99 (U.S.) per year, and can be shared with up to five other family members. Three months of Apple Fitness+ are included for customers who purchase any new Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV capable of running the latest operating system software, AirPods Pro 3, or Powerbeats Pro 2 purchased from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller.
