Apple today seeded the release candidates of its upcoming tvOS 26.2, watchOS 26.2, and visionOS 26.2 updates.
Release candidates are usually identical to the final version of the software that will be released to the public provided that no show stopping bugs be found.
The release candidates can be downloaded from the Settings app on each device. The visonOS 26.2 release candidate will be restricted to developers.
watchOS 26.2 features updated Sleep Score ranges that better match how people might be feeling after a night’s rest.
In tvOS 26.2, users can know create a profile without an Apple Account, plus a dedicated Apple TV app kids mode for profiles created for kids is now available.
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas or release candidates on their daily driver iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, or Vision Pro. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
