Apple today unveiled its new Apple Creator Studio subscription bundle that offers access to six creative apps, along with exclusive AI features and content. In the U.S., pricing is set at $12.99 per month or $129 per year.
The six apps included with the Apple Creator Studio subscription are:
Pixelmator Pro was previously only available on the Mac, but will now be available on the iPad.
In addition to getting access to the six above apps, Apple Creator Studio subscribers will also gain access to exclusive AI features and premium content Final Cut Pro and Pixelmator Pro apps, as well as the iWork apps Numbers, Pages, and Keynote, and the Freeform app later this year.
Even if you have purchased these apps in the past, you will need to subscribe to the bundle if you want to have access to all of the new features offered by these apps going forward. However, Apple promises the apps will continue to receive updates.
There are some exceptions to this rule, as Logic Pro and MainStage users will apparently have all the same features whether they opt for the subscription or one-time-purchase versions.
Apple says there will be separate Creator Studio and one-time purchase versions of each app. Apple says if you have both versions installed on your Mac, the Creator Studio versions will stand out with “unique icons.”
