Apple to Host LA ‘Apple Experience’ Event for Creators January 27-29

Apple has invited a number of select creator to an “Apple Experience” in Los Angeles, California, scheduled for January 27 to 29, reports MacRumors. The publication speculates that Apple may use the “experience” as an opportunity to announce new M5 Pro– and M5 Max-powered MacBook Pro models.

Content creator shared an image of his invitation on Instagram on January 7. Mara had previously been invited to an Apple event in September, where he was allowed to test the latest iPhone 17 Pro models.

Apple’s main reason for holding the event is likely to expose creators to its new “Creator Studio” of creative apps for the Mac and iPad. The new bundle–which offers subscription versions of several professional Mac apps like Logic Pro, Final Cut Pro, and several other apps–is scheduled to launch on January 28, so the event is almost certainly related to that release.

There are also precedents for Apple debuting new products shortly before a quarterly earnings call, and the next call is scheduled for Thursday, January 29, which is also the last day of the creator event. This makes the idea that Apple will announce new M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pros at the event all the more likely.
