Tim Cook and Other Apple Executives Were Compensated Nicely in 2025

Apple’s annual proxy filing was published on Thursday, and in it, Apple provided details about how it compensated company CEO Tim Cook and other senior executives in 2025.

Apple says company Cook’s total compensation was down slightly from 2024, as he earned a mere $74,294,811 in 2025.

Cook’s 2025 compensation was as follows:

  • Salary: $3,000,000
  • Stock awards: $57,535,293
  • Non-equity incentive plan compensation: $12,000,000
  • All other compensation: $1,759,518

The “all other compensations” earnings category includes the following:

  • Company contributions to Cook’s 401(k) plan: $21,000
  • Term life insurance premiums paid by Apple: $2,964
  • Vacation cash-out: $57,692
  • Security expenses: $887,870
  • Personal air travel expenses: $789,991. (Apple pays for Cook’s air travel expenses, both business and personal, due to the Apple Board requiring Cook to use private aircraft for all of his travel for efficiency and security reasons.)
