Apple Seeds Second watchOS 26.4, tvOS 26.4 and visionOS 26.4 Betas to Developers – Here’s What’s New So Far

Apple on Monday seeded the second betas of watchOS 26.4, tvOS 26.4 and visionOS 26.4 to developers for testing purposes. The new betas come just one week after the initial seeds of the updates.

The betas can be downloaded from the Settings app on each device. The visonOS 26.4 beta will be restricted to developers.

watchOS 26.4 adds a new Average Bedtime metric to the sleep features that sync to the health app.

tvOS 26.4 removes the iTunes Movies and iTunes TV Shows apps on the Apple TV. A Continuous Audio Connection option for HDMI output has also been added.

visionOS 26.4 includes support for foveated streaming for apps and games. Foveated streaming allows video to be streamed to the precise area where a user is looking, and peripheral areas are compressed.

As usual, Mactrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver Apple Watch, Apple TV, or Vision Pro. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
