Apple on Tuesday hosted members of the media at its “2026 Apple TV Press Day,” where it shared its upcoming slate of new and returning original films and series. Several stars made appearances at the event to promote their upcoming projects.
Kurt Russell, Jennifer Garner, Jon Hamm,Keanu Reeves, Anya Taylor-Joy, James Marsden, and others made an appearance at the shindig. However, the cast of Apple’s popular comedy series “The Studio,” did not appear, due to the unexpected death of series co-star Catherine O’Hara.
Apple is premiering a large amount of content in 2026, and the streamer promises to premiere a new original film or series each week of the year.
In addition to a returning slate of series, which includes season four of the popular comedy “Ted Lasso,” season two the Jennifer Garner thriller “The Last Thing He Told Me,” and an encore of “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters,” several new series are slated.
The streamer showed teasers of “Imperfect Women,” starring Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington and Kate Mara; the David E. Kelley-produced “Margo’s Got Money Troubles,” starring Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer; and “Lucky,” a new limited series with “The Queen’s Gambit” star Anya Taylor-Joy headlining.

Apple Original Film “Eternity” is a romantic comedy about an afterlife where departed souls have one week to decide where they want to spend the rest of eternity. In the film, Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) is forced to make the impossible choice between the man she spent her life with (Miles Teller) and the love of her life (Callum Turner), who died young and has been waiting decades in eternity for her arrival.
Premiere Date: February 13, 2026
Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz, Matt Bomer, Jonah Hill star the dark comedy “Outcome,” which centers on Hollywood star Reef Hawk (Reeves), who is forced to confront his inner demons after a mysterious and damaging video surfaces, threatening to destroy his public image and career. He is assisted by lifelong friends Kyle (Diaz) and Xander (Bomer), as well as his “crisis lawyer” Ira (Hill) during his “soul-searching journey to make amends with anyone he could have possibly wronged in hopes of identifying the blackmailer.”
Premiere Date: April 10, 2026
Award winner David E. Kelley’s “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” stars Elle Fanning and Emmy Award nominee Michelle Pfeiffer.
It follows recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo (Fanning), the daughter of an ex-Hooters waitress (Pfeiffer) and ex-pro wrestler (Nick Offerman), as she’s forced to make her way with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them.
The series also stars Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty and Lindsey Normington.

Former “The Americans” star Matthew Rhys is Tom Loftis, the mayor of “quaint island town” Window’s Bay off the coast of New England. Loftis working to revive the struggling town, as he deals with superstitious local residents, who believe their town is cursed. As he begins to succeed in attracting tourist to his town, it turns out the old wives’ tales may be true, as odd happenings once again begin to occur.
Rhys executive produces and stars alongside Kate O’Flynn, Stephen Root, Kingston Rumi Southwick, Kevin Carroll and Dale Dickey.

Tatiana Maslany and Jake Johnson star in a new half-hour dark comedy series that follows a recently divorced mom Paula (Maslany), as she “falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder and youth soccer.” She’s convinced she has witnessed a murder and launches her own investigation, as she simultaneously struggles to rebuild her life.
Premiere Date: May 20, 2026
Anya Taylor-Joy stars in this series, which is based on the New York Times bestselling novel of the same name by Marissa Stapley. Taylor-Joy stars as a young woman who has left behind the life of crime she led in her younger days, although she must once again return to that life as she makes a desperate attempt to escape her past.
Premiere Date: July 15, 2026
Among the other new and returning series are “Cape Fear,” starring Amy Adams and Javier Bardem (based on the classic movie of the same name); “Imperfect Women,” starring Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington, and Kate Mara; the second season of off-beat neo-noir thriller “Sugar,” starring Colin Farrell; and several others.
Apple also provided a peek at their upcoming original films “Outcome,” “The Dink,” “Mayday,” “Matchbox The Movie” and “Way of the Warrior Kid,” all set to debut this year.
