Apple has provided a peek at its upcoming Apple Borivali store in Mumbai. The store is the sixth Apple retail location in India, and the second store located in Mumbai. The store opens its doors to the public on Thursday, February 26, at 1 p.m. local time.
The store is located in Sky City Mall, which is a large new shopping and entertainment complex in Borivali East, in the Khande Rao Dongari area of the city.
“We’re thrilled to open Apple Borivali, and bring the best of Apple to life for even more customers in India,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail and People. “We’re so inspired by the creativity and enthusiasm of communities across India, and our dedicated team members are excited to welcome and connect with customers in this extraordinary new store, our second in Mumbai.”
The store’s team of over 70 employees will provide sales guidance and support to customers, while also providing retail services, including Apple Trade In, financing, data transfer, and other services.
As you might expect, the new store operates on 100% renewable energy and is carbon neutral.
In addition to offering a peek at the new location, Apple has created a special Apple Music playlist to celebrate the opening of the new store, as well as custom decorative wallpapers for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Apple opened its first two Indian stores in 2023 in Mumbai (BKC) and Delhi (Saket), later expanding to Bengaluru (Hebbal) and Pune (Koregaon Park), opening a Noida location in 2025.
