Apple has updated the Apple Sports app, allowing college basketball fans to follow their favorite teams in real time during March Madness.
Version 3.8.1 of the app brings new in-app brackets allowing fans to track the NCAA Division I men’s and women’s basketball tournaments in real time, including live scores, play-by-play updates, and detailed stats.
What’s New
- Follow the Men’s and Women’s NCAA tournaments in real time, with brackets showcasing matchups and results at a glance for each round, so you can keep up with every game.
- Fans in Latin America and the Caribbean can now follow their favourite leagues and teams in Apple Sports.
- The football lineup is growing, with Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Categoria Primera A, Liga de Primera, Liga Pro, Liga Profesional de Futbol and Primera División del Perú.
- A new football category has been added to the app, making it easier to find and follow your favourite leagues, cups and more, all in one place.
Apple Sports first launched in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. in February 2024, later expanding to Europe and Mexico. The app offers a personalized experience that allows users to put their favorite leagues and teams front and center. The app is now available in 80 countries.
Version 3.8.1 of the Apple Sports app is now available in the App Store.
