Apple Seeds Second macOS Tahoe 26.5 Beta to Developers For Testing

Apple on Monday seeded the second developer beta of its upcoming macOS Tahoe 26.5 update. The new beta comes two weeks after the initial seed of the update.

Registered developers can download the new beta software through the System Settings app. The ‌macOS Tahoe 26‌.5 beta is currently limited to developers, but it will likely soon be released to public beta testers sometime in the next few days.

So far, we don’t know exactly what is included in the new beta. However, it’s likely the update primarily focuses on bug fixes and performance improvements.

As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver Mac. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
