Last week, a Macworld report claimed Apple is working on four color options for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max: Light blue, dark cherry, dark gray, and silver. Now, Chinese leaker Ice Universe has shared an image showing four camera plateau protection plates with finishes that appear to match that rumor. (Via MacRumors)
The four anodized aluminum camera lens protector plates shown here are labeled as black, silver, wine red, and blue, although the last two translate via Apple’s Visual Intelligence as “Burgundy” and “Basket Color.” Keep in mind that the accessories in the picture are not the actual iPhone bodies but are instead third-party camera covers designed to complement the rumored finishes. Also, the “black” description could actually refer to dark gray. Weibo leaker Instant Digital has previously said that Apple won’t be offering its next-generation premium models in a black color option this year.
Also keep in mind that the four colors are said to be still under consideration, and Apple still has plenty of time to change its corporate mind.
Apple is expected to unveil its iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models this September alongside its first foldable iPhone, which is rumored to have its own set of color finishes, which are so far rumored to be silver, white, and indigo.
