Now through April 13th, new Apple Card users can score 5% cash back when they pay for their groceries using the Apple Card during their first six months of membership. This is an impressive increase over the usual 1-2% cash back on groceries.
Reboot your credit card.
Apple Card is a no-fee credit card that gives you real cash back on every purchase.
And for a limited time, you can earn 5% total Daily Cash back on grocery store purchases for your first 6 months, up to $500 total Bonus Daily Cash, when you get a new Apple Card by April 13.
This offer allows new users to earn 5% cash back on groceries purchased with both the physical titanium card and with Apple Pay, providing users with up to $500 in bonus cash back. You will have to apply for the card through the “Apply Now” button provided on this page.
A bonus that applies to the physical Apple Card is quite rare.
Apple Card holders traditionally get 3% Daily Cash from Apple purchases. Apple Pay purchases earn Apple Card holders 2% cash back by default, with 1% cash back available for non-Apple Pay purchases.
Several merchants also offer special cash back rates for Apple Card users when using Apple Pay and the Apple Card for a purchase, including Ace Hardware, Booking.com ChargePoint, Duane Reade, Exxon and Mobil gas stations, Nike, Uber, Uber Eats, and Walgreens.
Apple and Chase in January officially announced that Chase will become the new issuer of Apple Card. The transition is expected to take approximately 24 months to finalize.
During this transition, Apple Card users can continue to use their card as they normally do. More information, including FAQs, is available at learn.applecard.apple/transition. Additional details will be shared with users as the transition date approaches.
