Apple Retail Store Customers That Sign Up In-Store for an Apple Card Can Score Free AirPods Pro 3

Possibly as soon as next week, Apple customers who sign up for an Apple Card at any of Apple’s retail stores in the U.S. will receive $249 cash back when they purchase AirPods Pro 3according to Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman.

Since the retail price for AirPods Pro 3 is $249, the cash back amount effectively gives new in-store Apple Card applicants a free pair of the wireless earbuds. Since Apple has yet to officially announced the promotion, exact terms and conditions are not available at this time.

Apple Card cash back would come as Daily Cash, so customers should receive the $249 cash back on the same day as signing up for the card.

The Apple Card launched in 2019, and is currently still a US-only offering.

Apple Card gives customers easy-to-understand, real-time views of their latest transactions and balance right in Wallet, and Apple Card support is available 24/7 by simply sending a text from Messages.

Apple Card uses machine learning and Apple Maps to clearly label transactions with merchant names and locations. Users see their purchases automatically totaled and organized by color into color-coded categories such as Shopping, Entertainment, Food and Drink, and many more. Customers receive weekly and monthly spending summaries.

While the Apple Card is currently issued by Goldman Sachs, Chase will be taking over the credit card by early 2028.
