Apple Seeds First Betas of iOS 26.6 and iPadOS 26.6 to Developers for Testing

Apple on Tuesday seeded the first betas of its upcoming iOS 26.6 and iPadOS 26.6 updates to developers for testing. The new betas come two week after Apple released iOS 26.5 and iPadOS 26.5 to the public.

Registered developers can download the new iOS 26.6 and iPadOS 26.6 beta software using the Software Update section of the Settings app.

While the iOS 26.6 and iPadOS 26.6 betas are currently limited to developers, Apple will likely release a public beta in the coming days.

Apple will unveil iOS 27 in June at WWDC26, so this update to iOS 26 will likely be limited to bug fixes, performance enhancements, or minor new features.

As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver iPhone or iPad. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
