New ‘Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphones’ From Apple or Beats Appear in FCC Database

Documents related to an apparently unreleased Apple product with model number A3577 have been published by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission, reports MacRumors. The document describes the product as “Bluetooth over-ear headphones.” However, it is unclear what these headphones are.

The details that would possibly reveal more information about the “A3577” headphones are temporarily being withheld due to a confidentiality request by Apple. This is standard operating procedure for the Cupertino firm when it comes to FCC product filings.

One figure, which shows the location of the FCC ID labeling on the product, simply shows a generic-looking headphone ear cup. No identifying design details are included.

It isn’t certain whether the “A3577” headphones will be released under the Apple or Beats branding. As noted by MacRumors, the Beats Studio Pro is nearly three years old, so this could be a revision for that headphone lineup.
