As had been expected, Apple debuted its new more personalized version of Siri earlier today, and as you might expect, the new features are limited to devices that already offer support for Apple Intelligence, which powers the new Siri AI.
“Siri AI” is available on the following devices:
The following Apple Watch models are compatible when they are paired with an Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone that is nearby:
Some of the “Siri AI” features will also be available on CarPlay when the vehicle is connected to an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone model.
While “Siri AI” is now available to test in English in the iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, and visionOS 27 developer betas there is a wait list. After updating to iOS 27, developers will need to go to the Settings app, the Apple Intelligence section, and opt in to the waitlist to get access to Siri. Apple made a similar move with iOS 18’s Apple Intelligence features.
The feature will be coming to the Apple Watch in a future watchOS 27 beta. “Siri AI” will be available in the public betas of each update, which will be available in July.
It should be noted that during the WWDC 2026 keynote, it was said that the most powerful on-device models, which includes Siri AI features like expressive voices, and more advanced dictation, “will be coming to our most capable iPhone, iPad, and Mac systems.” A slide was then shown listing the following models:
This appears to leaves the recently released MacBook Neo out in the cold when it comes to the most powerful on-device models, as the MacBook Neo only has 8GB of unified memory.
Siri AI will not be available in the EU on iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 at launch, which Apple says is due to regulatory issues related to the EU’s Digital Markets Act.
