Apple’s Debuts New Best Buy-Only Beats Solo Buds Color

Apple has unveiled its Beats Solo Buds wireless earbuds in a new color, as a Best-Buy-only offering in the US. Beats Solo Buds are now offered in orange through Best Buy in the US, with availability in 7-Eleven stores in Japan beginning on July 4. (First noticed by MacRumors.)

Apple first launched its Beats Solo Buds in June 2024. The buds were originally available in Matte Black, Storm Gray, and Transparent Red color options, as well as an Arctic Purple that is only available from Apple and Target. Another retailer-exclusive Ivory color has since debuted.

This isn’t the first time Apple has offered orange Solo Buds. In October 2024, the company offered customers in India a free pair with the purchase of an iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Plus, as part of a promotion in celebration of Diwali. While those limited-edition earbuds included purple Beats “b” logos on the earbuds and case, the new orange models boast red “b” logos.

The Solo Buds are regularly priced at $79.99 in the US, although Best Buy is currently offering them at $69,99. The entry-level truly-wireless earbuds feature up to an impressive 18 hours of battery life, although they lack active noise cancellation, and the carrying case is not equipped with a battery, meaning the earbuds can only be charged via a wired power source.
