Apple today released new betas of iOS 26.6.1, iPadOS 26.6.1, and macOS Tahoe 26.6.2, which are available to developers and public beta testers. The iOS and iPadOS 26.6.1 betas come two weeks after the launch of iOS 26.6, while the macOS Tahoe 26.6.2 beta comes just a few days after Apple released macOS Tahoe 26.6.1, another security update.
Registered developers and public beta testers can download the iOS 26.6.1, iPadOS 26.6.1, and macOS Tahoe 26.6.2 beta software using the Software Update section of the Settings app.
Apple’s release notes say iOS 26.6.1 and iPadOS 26.6.1 includes security fixes for the iPhone and iPad. The macOS Tahoe 26.6.2 beta includes security fixes for the Mac. The updates are available in a beta capacity only right now.
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
