The new Mac mini and Mac Studio models Apple unveiled earier this week are slated to ship on September 22 and will have macOS 27 Golden Gate installed and ready to go, according to Daring Fireball‘s John Gruber. This means that most, owners will need to run a short update before they can hit the ground running.
It should be noted that Apple’s product pages for the new Mac mini and Mac Studio models do mention macOS 27 Golden Gate-only features such as Siri AI, providing further evidence that the new Macs will indeed ship with the latest operating system, not macOS Tahoe.
In addition, FCC documents and other evidence found by MacRumors all indicate the new Macs will come with macOS Golden Gate preinstalled.
We will most likely see a release of macOS Golden Gate to the public during the week of Monday, September 14.

- Customers can pre-order the new Mac mini with M6 and M5 Pro starting today, August 25, on apple.com/store and in the Apple Store app in 30 countries and regions, including the U.S. It will begin arriving to customers, and in Apple Store locations and Apple Authorized Resellers, starting September 22.

Mac Studio with 512GB of unified memory is coming in late October.
