New Apple Store to open in Outdoor Shopping Complex Just Outside of Boise, Idaho

New Apple Store to open in Outdoor Shopping Complex Just Outside of Boise, Idaho

Apple is working to open a new 10,000-square-foot store at The Village at Meridian, an outdoor shopping complex near Boise, Idaho, reports BoiseDev. The store will be part of an expansion for the popular shopping location.

Apple is aiming to open the store in time for the iPhone 18 Pro launch this September, claims the report. The company’s only other Idaho-based retail store is located at the Boise Towne Square shopping mall. Meridian is a city just outside of Boise, and due to both cities’ sizes, they basically overlap each other.

In April BoiseDev reported on permits filed with the City of Meridian for “Apple Store – Village at Meridian.” The permits show a large 10,411-square-foot store. After BoiseDev’s original report, the city renamed the permit as “Retail Store – The Village at Meridian.” A new permit labeled “Fire – Apple Store” was filed for the same space later that month.

The permits show the improvements are valued at $8,000,000 for a 10,411 square foot store at 3300 E. Longwing Ln., Suite 130. Plans show an exterior with Apple’s usual straight lines and clean façade, as well as a large, open sales floor area, and a back room off to one side.

The general contractor for the project is SAJO Inc., which has done extensive work for Apple at other retial locations.

While the expansion will begin with stores opening as soon as September, it isn’t known whether Apple will be opening around then, or later. The expansion is expected to be fully completed and open by February of next year.
