As noted by Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman on X today, Otterbox is already selling iPhone 18 Pro cases in-store at Best Buy. It’s a bit unusual for a case make to launch a case this far ahead of the introduction of the new iPhones, even more unusual is that Otterbox’s packaging claims the case will fit both the iPhone 18 Pro and last year’s iPhone 17 Pro!
Gurman didn’t note whether or not he agreed with Otterbox’s implied sizing for new cases. We have seen rumors indicating the the iPhone 18 Pro lineup will be roughly the same design as the iPhone 17 Pro models, although at least two rumormongers had claimed the new iPhone 18 Max Pro could be a bit thicker and heavier than its predecessor, thanks to a larger battery.
A quick search on BestBuy.com showed that while Otterbox Figura cases are available, the compatibility information only mentions that it fits the iPhone 17 Pro.
