On Wednesday, we reported that South Korean firm LG Electronics Inc. is working with Apple to develop thermostats, doorbells, cameras, and other accessories compatible with Apple’s smart home platform. Now it appears another company is joining LG as a maker of accessories for use with Apple’s upcoming smart home hub.
According to a post by code sleuth pdfu, a “second-party” partnership table shows ten individual products from both LG and Schneider. This indicates that Apple has multiple “second party” partners making accessories.

The existence of the table hints at a larger initiative Apple could unveil during its Apple Home-focused October 13 event. Previous reports have indicated LG’s accessories won’t be available until early 2027, so this is also likely the timeline for Schneider’s accessories.
