Owen Wilson Hits the Links for ‘Stick’ Season 2, Today on Apple TV

Owen Wilson’s popular golf comedy “Stick” returns to Apple TV today, Wednesday, November 4, 2026 with two episodes of its second season, followed by weekly releases through the end of December. Wilson returns as former professional golfer Pryce Cahill, who this season is attempting a comeback. Rhea Seehorn joins the cast as his coach alongside returning stars Peter Dager, Marc Maron, Mariana Treviño, and Timothy Olyphant.

Last season, Wilson played Pryce Cahill washed-up professional golfer who sells clubs and coaches at a range, where he discovers Santi Wheeler, a talented young player. Cahill is so impressed with what he sees in Wheel, that he sells his house to get the money to pay for his new prodigy’s career, Pryce travels in an RV with Santi, his mother Elena, friend and former caddy Mitts, and club bartender-turned-caddy Zero Duffy across the United States to help Santi establish a career in pro golf, While also improving his own life in the process.

“Stick” is a sports comedy series created by Jason Keller and starring and executive produced by Owen Wilson. Wilson stars as Pryce Cahill, an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago. After the collapse of his marriage and while working at an Indiana sporting goods store, Pryce hedges his bets, and future, entirely on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom named Santi (Peter Dager). “Stick” is a heartfelt, feel-good comedy about a found family and their relationships set within the world of golf as it has never been shown before.

In season 2, Pryce is covinced to play golf again, and makes a few additions to his squad.

In this scene from Season 2, Pryce (Wilson) meets up again with former on-course foe Clark Ross ( Timothy Olyphant) for a war of words, and maybe reconciliation. Olyphant’s character was a recurring on in Season 1, but he’ll be a series regualr in Season 2. The banter between these two characters was particularly enjoyable in Season 1, and hopefully we’ll get plenty more of that back-and-forth between the two in this sesond season.
