Google says if you have VPN by Google One turned on and your country or region is listed above, VPN by Google One still works when you travel to other countries or regions.

If you’re not familiar with VPN services, a VPN masks a user’s true IP address by temporarily assigning a fresh IP address to your computer, smartphone, or other connected devices. This prevents websites, apps, and other users on the internet from being able to track your actual location while keeping your online activities incognito.

Paid Google One plan pricing starts at $1.99 per month for 100GB of storage. A $2.99 per month 200GB plan and a $9.99 per month 2TB storage plan. A free 15GB storage tier is also available but it doesn’t include the VPN service.

Google is also debuting a new feature that will allow users to monitor for exposure of their personal information on the dark web. Google One’s dark web report scans the dark web for your personal information — such as your name, address, email, phone number, and Social Security number — and will notify you if it is found.
