Apple Permanently Closing Partridge Creek, MI Store Next Month

Apple has announced a closure date for its Partridge Creek store, which is located just outside of Detroit, Michigan. The location will close its doors for the final time at 8 p.m. local time, Saturday, August 16.

Apple says the store’s employees will all have the opportunity to continue to work with Apple.

Apple has posted the following notice to the store’s page:

Thank you, Partridge Creek. Apple Partridge Creek is closing on August 16 at 8pm. We’re still here for you. Please visit apple.com/retail to find your nearest store.

The store opened in 2007 in Clinton Township, a northern suburb of Detroit. Apple Somerset will become the closest store for customers north of Detroit.

Apple giveth and Apple taketh away, as the looming closure comes as Apple is preparing a new store location in Downtown Detroit, on Woodward Avenue, near Grand River Avenue.
