Apple today posted the out-of-warranty repair fees for all of the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air models that will hit store shelves next week.
Customers will be glad to know that if their iPhone 17 battery needs to be replaced, they’ll pay a flat $99. Apple will charge the same fee to replace a battery in an iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, or iPhone Air that it does for an iPhone 16 Pro or iPhone 16 Pro Max, a flat $119.
Despite Apple’s assertions that the iPhone Air is as tough as it is thin, I’m sure several potential iPhone Air buyers are curious as to how much various repairs will cost, so here’s the rundown:
- Cracked screen (front only): $329
- Back glass damage: $159
- Cracked screen and back glass damage: $419
- Battery: $119
- Rear camera: $169
- Other damage: $699
The fees above are for out-of-warranty repair fees. If you purchase AppleCare+ coverage, the repair fees will range from $29 to $99 per incident for all models.
All of the fees are listed on Apple’s iPhone Repair and Service page.
