To celebrate Heart Month, Apple will launch a new Apple Watch activity challenge on Saturday, February 14, also known as Valentine’s Day.
“Close your exercise ring on Valentine’s Day, February 14, to earn this award. Your heart will love you for it.”
As is traditional for Apple Watch Activity Challenges, the Heart Month challenge will be accompanied by an award that can be viewed in the Fitness app as well as a series of animated stickers that can be used in the Messages app.
To earn this year’s Heart Month Challenge award and exclusive stickers, users just need to log a workout using any app that writes data to Apple’s Fitness app, including Apple Watch’s built-in Workout app. The exercise ring (it’s the green one) defaults to 30 minutes, but you’ll need to complete a longer workout if you have set your exercise ring to a higher amount of time.
The Heart Month workout challenge is just the latest in a series of challenges offered by Apple, offering special badges and animated Messages stickers to Apple Watch owners that complete them.
Apple will also offer Heart Month-themed content in the App Store, Apple TV app, Apple Podcasts, and Apple Books during the month of February.
