Version 3.9 of the free Apple Sports app has received three new features, including car numbers on NASCAR leaderboards, probable starting pitchers for Major League Baseball games, and last but certainly not least – the ability to turn off sports betting odds directly in the app. Turning off betting odds previously required using the Settings app.

Apple Sports first launched in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. in February 2024, later expanding to Europe and Mexico. The app offers a personalized experience that allows users to put their favorite leagues and teams front and center. The app is now available in 80 countries.
The app shows scores, stats, standings, and more for a variety of leagues and events, including the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, NASCAR, F1, Premier League, PGA TOUR, and more.
Version 3.8.1 of the Apple Sports app is now available in the App Store.
To set bettings odds access off or on, do the following:
- Go to the Apple Sports app on your iPhone, tap the menu button in the upper-right corner, tap the settings gear, then do either of the following:
- Hide betting odds: Turn Show Betting Odds off.
- Select the format for betting odds: Tap Odds Type, then select American, Decimal, or Fractional.
