Apple Extends Its 2026 Back to School Sale Until September 24

Apple has extended its 2026 Back to School Promotion until September 24, meaning it will last almost a month longer than the original end date of August 27. The extension is available in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and several Asian countries.

Apple’s annual Back to School promotion for students and educational buyers in the United States launched in mid-July. Buyers can score a free Apple gift card with the purchase of an eligible Mac or iPad. While the discounts are nothing to sneeze at, there are better deals to be had elsewhere.

In the United States, Canada, Mexico, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand, Apple is offering a gift card with purchases as follows:

  • MacBook Pro: $150
  • MacBook Air: $100
  • iPad Pro: $100
  • iPad Air: $100

That means that when a user buys one of these devices, they get a gift card that amounts to money off their next purchase. Notice that the desktop Mac models are not included in the promotion.

In China, Singapore, and Vietnam, customers can score a pack of four AirTags with the purchase of select devices, while customers in India can get a pack of four AirTags, AirPods 4, or Apple Pencil Pro, depending on the device bought.

The offer now runs through September 24, 2026. The offer is available “for Qualified Purchasers only,” indicating it’s limited to people verified to be in education.

The MacBook Neo, iPad mini, entry-level ‌iPad‌, desktop Macs, and iPhones are excluded from the promotion. UNiDAYS verification is required to make a purchase.

Before taking advantage of Apple’s Back to School promotion, be sure to check the deals being offered by Apple resellers. They are often better deals that the gift card-centis offering directly from Apple.
