Apple today released iOS 26.6.2 and iPadOS 26.6.2, which includes a fix for “an issue that prevents downloading a software update over a cellular connection.” The update comes approximately three weeks after iOS 26.6.1, which brought important security fixes.
The update is rolling out now for the iPhone 11 series and newer. To update your iPhone, open the Settings app and tap on “General” -> “Software Update.” It might take some time for the update to be available to all users.
Apple is expected to release iOS 27 to the public later this month. The company is likely to announce an exact release date for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and the rest of its updated operating systems during Wednesday’s iPhone event.
